Course correction possibilities exist,
but require whole-system reversal & transformation
- Cease subsidies and funding of fossil fuel & other polluters
- Clean up pollution, especially GHG emissions, plastics & toxins
- Renewable energy: electrify everything, replace fossil fuel
- Reduce inequality: use taxes on excessively unequal wealth to mitigate
- Reduce human population, negative growth
- Replace farming practices which destroy habitat with, for example, permaculture
- Reforest, eliminate forestry practices which destroy habitat
- Degrowth economics (“Doughnut” economics), eco-socialism
- Restrict air travel severely, embrace Localization. Slow down.
